Chapter Four : The Future Unilateral 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Now Casio owned the book stolen from me by the school and owned it legally! It was the end of a disgrace, it was the end of a dishonor, for the Japanese like Casio, this is a life changing moment! Casio wanted to celebrate the event and made a series of watches dedicated to me to mark the occassion. I knew how people felt about me I knew they probably would boycott those models because of me that is why I am not sharing them with you but there were models that celebrated the event. What I gave Casio were solutions to their most common problems to mark the occassion these solutions turned out to make Casio number one in this area again taking it from Garmin who hated me for my scathing review of their 701/801 Ballistics Computer referring to it as "a spotter on the wrist" in my review. Okay, I apologise for it, I would've preferrred a shot timer on the wrist I really didn't like it! One of Casio's biggest problems was the watchband they keep breaking on their customers and they are supposed to be unbreakable?! I am going to give you this some of their bands have double holes and a metal clasp with two pins in it that was my design they implemented that design in almost all their G-Shock's. Another argument against the unbreakable watch is if the battery goes flat it broke! You can replace the battery but you're fixing it because it broke! If they were solar powered you would never need to change the battery and the watch would be unbreakable! Today just about every new G-Shock is solar powered that is my fault and I am sorry if yours is not but it's probably a very old model. I know your attitudes towards me have changed I really don't want to tell you what those models are because I am a Sate in Japan under Japanese law they are not allowed to sell them they are Sate so I have keep them quiet. For those that don't know Japan is a Sharli Law country the "decalogue" is a Greek El sometimes known as Ca. A Sate is someone with an redelled El from a Greek perspective or someone with a Je Suis Ca from a Hebrew perspective so I have keep quiet it's sort of like selling software with a LGPL license! Garmin laughed at that they could implement solar powered watches too they went one better allowed you to USB charge it too in fact, their watches don't need to be charged for a very long time which is longer than any Casio. They made it trivial to replace a broken band and took the number one spot from Casio yet again but Garmin really hated me for the idea of replacing the Multiband 6 with an App on the phone. All new Casio watches would be bluetooth capable would use bluetooth to communicate with the app and whatever time was on the phone would be the time on the watch but what was the Multiband 6 and why did they replace it?! The WWVB was a time signal broadcasted in the United States it's the time of the NIST clock. The watch calibrates itself with this signal so it always has the right time but you have to change the time zone and set it for daylight savings because it is in GMT/UTC time but the app doesn't need you to do that it does it for you! When Donald Trump comes to office he decides to pull down the WWVB claiming he can save Americans 1 billion dollars a year getting rid of this dated technology. There were two signals in Japan they count as one because they use the same frequency each is run by a University (College) in Japan but they pull it down during renovations they need the space! The one in China wasn't authorised by the government and you know what that means, it's gone now! The one in Russia used the same frequency but is bombed by Ukraine during their war with Russia who refuse to replace it! Now there were two, DCF77 in Germany and MSF in Britian which still work to this very day the problem is neither Germany or Britian see it as having a future while it's there now they can't guarantee it won't disappear in the future meaning the Multiband 6 Casio used to calibrate their devices for over twenty years is dead and needs to be replaced.
