Obscurities

31. What is the difference between a sniper rifle and a traditional rifle!
A sniper file is designed to be incredibly accurate but it comes at a horrible cost because mistakes are huge. You're not off a little with a sniper rifle you're off by a huge amount therefore, you need a spotter to make sure you get the shot right the first time!
32. Why do they say one shot one kill for?!
It is because you quite literally only get one shot at it! When you pull that trigger so much force is used to fire that bullet that everything quite literally jumps up in the air and comes crashing down wherever forcing you start all over again if you miss.
33. When Rudy Reyes was your spotter you changed rifles because he was giving you bullshit as you put it, why?!

Some rifles can fire a sniper round but are not accurate enough to be called "sniper rifles". These rifles would never give you the type of accuracy you expect from a sniper rifle however, the error caused from missing with one of these would not be as bad as an error caused from missing with a sniper rifle!

34. What are your thoughts on a one mile shot?!
The whole point of sniper rifle is that it allows you to put that bullet exactly where you want it when you want it but if the target is over half a mile away it is no longer predictable what is going to happen to that bullet so while you may get a one mile shot you wouldn't get it consistently over half a mile away.
35. What would you say to someone who claims to have taken a shot over half a mile away?!
I wouldn't have risked it, it's too dangerous to take a shot like that because you may miss! If you miss they can find you and get rid of you bullets only travel in one direction it's easy to trace the bullet back to its source when you miss. In my mind that is not worth the risk! It practically gives away your position!
36. Did you become a Green Beret because you wanted too or were you forced into it because the 42nd was closing?!
I chose Reconnaissance Marine when I enlisted in the marine corps but my recruiter told me they decide not me and chose sniper for me instead. I ended up becoming a sniper but it wasn't something that sat well with me. Sniping wasn't something I enjoyed doing I rather hated the role and tried to avoid it so when the opportunity for a Green Beret emerged I went off and did that and didn't look back. I always had a problem being a sniper it just wasn't me!
37. What was your preferred reticle or optic?!
I preferred what is known today as a mil dot reticle but in my day those dots were moa not like now where they are mils. It's sort of like Metric and Imperial mils and moa but I would have a problem today because the reticle is in mils in my day it was moa
38. Do you believe civilians should do CQB?!
It's a personal choice whether civilians do CQB (Close Quarters Battle) or not but if it was me I would've recommended a panic room instead of doing CQB. I have always believed it is the role of law enforcement to protect civilians and they shouldn't be required to do CQB to protect their home that's not their job
39. How are you with CQB?!
My SEAL team hates me now those I did my Green Beret with wouldn't turn up now I would be forced to do CQB on my own. Doing CQB on your own is incredibly difficult so I would avoid CQB where possible. I would have problems doing CQB today because it's been so long since I have done it but again I would be forced to do it on my own and it's difficult to do on your own because it's team based
40. Are you a devout Christian?!
I am trying but it's difficult when you are "ye of little faith"
