What would you do to fix the problem with the Reconnaissance Marine?!
Navy SEALS were Green Berets with just another attitude to the mission which did result in some obvious changes being made to the KIT/Loadout between Green Berets and Navy SEALS but if you were to take Green Beret and give then a SEAL attitude you would have the same thing!

The Reconnaissance Marine wouldn't be a Navy SEAL as such but they would be very close to it and that is the way it was back in my day so this is one way the marine corps could fix that problem by turning the Reconnaissance Marines into a Navy SEAL of sorts.
