Server (Calibrated) ClockServers like this one talk to servers all over the globe and some even engage in business and other things where accurate time is essential. This is achieved through the UTC (Universal Time Clock) set to Time Zone 0 "Zulu Time" and UT1 are generally not used but may be used in some cases. In order to ensure every server's clock has the same time the server clock is periodicaly calibrated with an external clock known as an Atomic Clock through NTP (Network Time Protocol) and this clock here shows that time. |
